Firefly & Serenity, baby! Why? Within the first 10 minutes of Firefly, we had Wash on the bridge playing with dinosaurs!
Wash: (as Stegosaurus) Yes...yes. This is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it...this land.
Wash: (as Allosaur) I think we should call it...your grave!
Wash: (as Stegosaurus) Ah! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Wash: (as Allosaur) Ha ha ha! Mine is an evil laugh! Now DIE!
Wash: (as Stegosaurus) Oh no, God, oh dear God in heaven...

I really need to get the t-shirt.

Not to mention there was a large amount of ass-kickery in the show and the movie. Crazy chick putting the smackdown on? Yes, please!

Dean - I'ma shoot you
I'm tired of dealing wih a bunch of irresponsible douchebags.

Matt, Jill, & I were supposed to be going on vacation Friday. Portland. So we could go to the beach. Jill was given the dates we had off a month and a half ago; I, stupidly, waited on booking the room because she wasn't sure she could get it off. I've been harassing Matt for 3 effin weeks to call her and see if she got the days off; Walmart does their schedules a month in advance, she should know if she has the damn days off. So he called Thursday, finally, after much nagging, and no, she had no idea if she had the days off. He called again today, and she still has absolutely no idea if she has them off, because, you know, it's so goddamned hard to look at the motherfucking bigass schedule they have on the wall out back.

So I went to book a room anyway, and guess what...The only rooms available are either at Bates motel or are $170+ a night. Which doesn't surprise me, but it completely flabbergasts the irresponsible idiots I was supposed to be going with.

I'm not paying $170/night, and I'm not staying somewhere where I'll have to go down to the free clinic every day for a tetanus shot either.

I'm tired of this shit. I'm tired of being the only responsible person around here. I'm tired of having to shell out extra cash for hotel rooms because the jackasses I travel with are too stupid to do what I ask them to do the first 12 times I ask them to do it.

I'm going on vacations by myself from now on. Screw this.

Reed - Behind these eyes
1. What is (or would be) your dream vacation? A month or two traveling aimlessly through Asia.
2. What's one thing no vacation can do without? A map and a cell phone. You can't get lost as long as you have a map and a cell phone.
3. What has been the best trip of your life so far? The road trip to see the Noise to the World tour on my birthday. It was right before graduation and we hadn't really had much time to just be crazy teenagers; it was just what we needed.
4. Who was with you on that trip and what is the role of that person in your life? Jessi, Moose, and Clarky; they're my best "here" friends.
5. What's the worst thing that can happen during a vacation? Someone gets hurt or sick...Which happens on all of my trips; when it's a family vacation, someone usually gets sick, and when it's just a road trip with my friends, someone, if not all of us, end up with minor injuries.
